@# Brother MFC 8860DN Flatbed Laser All in One Printer with Duplex

The printer was a breeze to set up, easy to use and seemed really reliable. After six months it is BROKEN. The automatic sheet feeder jammed, the jam would not clear, and this completely negated the ability to use the machine as a scanner, copier or fax. Calling Customer Service is a joke! They are in Dominican Republic, speak English with difficulty. They speak from a script which they do not deviate from. And the result is that the product cannot be fixed unless I can transport the 80 lb printer myself (I am a 57 year old woman). There is no provision to have the printer picked up. Because they asked me to repeat steps I had already repeated SEVERAL times, the paper ultimately stuck in the machine and the entire machine is now broken.

The printer is useless to me now. I've already bought a replacement. DO NOT BUY!!!

@# Jensen Wrap around Earbuds

Some people complain about these being too tight on their heads, but these are the only headphones I've ever gotten to stay on my head while I work out. They don't hurt me. I've even had headphones in the same style that wrap around the back of the head, but they still all fell off except for these. I don't think I have a small head, either. I had this pair for 5 years until finally the left one stopped working unless I twisted the cord just right, so I looked for another pair and realized that nothing else measured up--had to buy the same ones again.

I got these for my Wife as a Christmas gift, a stocking stuffer. We work out 3-4 times a week and she was using Ipods ear buds OWWW. I decided to get her something more comfortable and she loves them. They fit great, they sound good, and they look cool, she likes the pink and white color scheme. I have a pair of $90 sony earbuds that I like as well, but her cord design is better, her left and right side cords where they split are the same length and even have a little slide to take up slack. That part is really nice, I personally think all ear buds should have a small clip on the cord to hook on the collar of your shirt to keep the cord from pulling at your ears while your working but whatever. This pair is great my wife is happy!

This is the second lens I've purchased for my T2i. I don't often take a lot of shots that require this kind of zoom, so I wasn't going to drop $1400 on a lens... mostly because I don't have that money to drop, LOL. But I wanted to have a zoom lens handy. I photograph trains, mostly model trains. And I've actually found that the 50mm 2.8 Canon lens does not do what I want to do that well. The depth of field I get, when I get close in, is so shallow that I can't get the whole locomotive in focus. That's one place where I found this lens to be more useful than I would have expected. I set the camera back from the subject, zoom in, and get more DOF... This would likely be the case with other zoom lenses, though. Photographing outdoors on mostly cloudy days here in Washington State, the lens does a fine job. If I'm zooming in, it really needs a tripod in those conditions. At the wide end it's not necessary. In the end, I would buy this lens again. I have taken some outdoor shots and it's not the sharpest, especially at the zoom end. But, on the rare occasion I need the sharpest, I'll rent the $1400 lens. I do plan on purchasing a better "Standard Zoom," and for that I'm looking at the Tokina 16.5-135mm that's more of a wide angle or the Canon 28-135... but the Tokina provides a larger DOF than at Canon lens.
