New HDTV DVD Technology Challenges Existing Formats

As if the format was a war between HD DVD and Blu-ray high-def DVD formats is not sufficiently heated, there will probably other players come into the ring in the immediate future. An almost unknown company called New Medium Enterprises is set to sent their high-def disc format, called HD VMD.

Unlike Blu-ray and HD DVD, HD VMD has the advantage of existing technology red laser to read data discs.
